Sree Narayana Public School always stand for the Universal Human values propounded by Sree Narayana Guru, our pathmaker, a great Scholar, Social Reformer, Saint and above all ‘a remarkable human being’ belongs to future not past. Therefore the institution named after him manifests itself as a ‘beacon of light’, ‘guide and pride’ in the life of children who are placed under our care.
The children of 21st century are blessed with infinite talents and confronted with too many challenges. They have an avalanche of avenues in a world of cut throat competitions, the place where the ‘fittest’ and the ‘fastest’ survives. But many of them are unfortunately oversensitive and delicate which make them vulnerable to the ‘do or die’ world of competitions.
The question arises before parents, educators and policy makers that how can we lead / motivate / guide them to take on the challenges of the day? How we can equip our children to withstand the inevitable stress and strain of the century?
At Sree Narayana Public School all efforts are made to ensure the integrated upbringing of dynamic, positive and potential students. They are being trained perennially how to move from one failure to another one without loosing their exuberance. They should be trained to handle success as well as failure. The tough people withstand the test of fire; others will perish in the attempt. Our children ‘need to be tough as well as firm’.
Many parents expect their wards to be super performers but they hardly realize the fact that “extra ordinary performances are always proceeded with ordinary preparations”. They need to have patience and perseverance, so that their greatest savings ie children are being transformed into extra ordinary performers in the ordinary world instead of being ordinary performers in an extra ordinary world.
The Mentors / Facilitators are entrusted with the responsibility of transforming the ‘lukewarm desires’ of their students into ‘burning passions’ so that the mindset of children are re-engineered. The family and school can play a pivotal role to harness the enormous amount of vitality and information which our new generation is fortunate to have with them.
We must remember and appreciate that no child is born in this world without talents. But it may vary from individual to individual. It is up to the parents’, school and society to identify, nurture and allow them to be bloomed.
